The past 80,000 years

In the neighborhood of the Red Sea approximately 2,000 individuals passed by on their way from North East Africa.

Most of these individuals had grandchildren---and their grandchildren had descendants that were living in China, India, Australia, Britain, Russia , Italy etc. within 30,000 years.

The emerging Science of populations studies using DNA analysis is help us to understand just how these populations moved from one place to another in 20 or 30 centuries.

Will these questions ever be answered?

How closely related in an Englishman to a German?

How closely related is a Japanese man to a Chinese man?

How closely related is a Sioux Indian to a Mohawk Indian?

How closely related is a population in Southern India related to a population in Siberia?

Compare the degree of closeness to the relationship of closeness between a population from Southern India to a population in Scandinavia.

Your sibling is closely related to you. Give that relationship a value of 2.

In what population would you expect to find the people that are farthest in their relationship to you? Give that relationship a value of 99.

Your guesses are welcome!
